The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, Inc. annually allocates 10% of all membership dues to an education fund. The fund is administered by the Chamber’s Foundation (a 501 c 3 corporation). As of 2006 over $400,000 has been set aside to further education in Lee County.

Funds are granted to teachers and education facilities through a quarterly grants review committee. If you are a Lee County teacher interested in applying for a grant you may download the application which includes all the information you need to apply.
