Leadership Programs

Mission Statement

The Mission is to assure leadership development in the Chamber’s business members by encouraging their community involvement, broadening their knowledge and heightening their leadership skills through participation in ten weeks of structured, interactive programs and activities emphasizing local economic, education, government and volunteerism issues.

Program Requirements

This comprehensive program encompasses all of Lee County. Those applicants accepted (limited to 25 maximum) for the Greater Fort Myers Leadership Program are required to attend a minimum of eight of the 10 classes. Week One attendance is mandatory. Total cost of the program is $795. which includes meals and materials (also includes fee for Industry Appreciation Luncheon in September).

Payment in full must accompany application. Those not admitted will be refunded. Applicants must be employed by a current member in good standing with The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce.

From Pre-K to Universities in Lee County.

Focus: “Media”
How to put for best foot (face) forward.

Week Seven:
Focus: “City of Fort Myers”
Behind the scenes of city government.

Week Eight:
Focus: “Lee County”
