Lee County Commissioner Tammy Hall will be the guest speaker at the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce monthly membership meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, June 17 beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Crowne Plaza Hotel, located at the Bell Tower, Fort Myers.
Hall is leading the charge to investigate whether a national Swim Center is a feasible tenant for the City of Palms Park once the Red Sox move to their new location. She will also discuss the pros and cons being considered and the procedures the County will implement in their fact-finding mission.
“This will be an interesting and thought-provoking opportunity to ask questions, give comments and educate the public on what will be a major decision for our Board of County Commissioners,” states Marietta Mudgett, Executive Director for the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce.
Reservations are encouraged and can be made online at www.fortmyers.org or by contacting the Chamber office at (239) 332-2930, extension 215.
